A long time ago, I heard a prediction about Maya from the Internet that it would be the end of the world in 2012. I was very scared that time when the day of the prediction came. But as time went by, it was just a prediction. If human beings do not protect the earth, our only home, that day will come back soon. Why? Let me tell something about that.
      The population increase is the biggest problem of the world. It makes the earth crowded and the shortage of the resources. The industry has polluted the water. Cutting down the trees makes the air no fresh any more. Lots of animals are losing their home and some are in great danger. Please stop these actions now. I don’t want to see such an earth.  
      How can we change the current terrible situation? First, we must save water and make water clean. Because water is the source of life. Second, the more trees, the better it will be. The government should set up nature parks to protect the animals. They are not only our best friends, but also our family. Last, reduce the industrial pollution and make the atmosphere cleaner.
      I believe with the efforts from us, the world will be better. We must always remember we only have one home, and one mother!
